Pouring a deep chestnut-brown/mahogany, this British Dark Strong Ale offers a rich aroma of toffee, dried fruit, and a whisper of cocoa, balanced by earthy, spicy hop character. Full-bodied and warming, with caramel and dark-fruit sweetness held in check by a firm bitterness, it finishes smooth and semi-dry - a rich, fireside-worthy sipper.
